A series of alumni testimonials about French colleges and universities. The alumni share their personal experiences about their courses, part-time jobs, internships, job search, etc. I have focused on alumni because it can help prospective and current students get a complete picture of the course and future opportunities.

In this particular article, Joel Koshy George was kind enough to share his Master’s experiences from ENAC – Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile in Toulouse.

Since 2020, A non-profit telegram group for Indian students is actively managed by Indian alumni, who graduated in France. The group covers the various topics relevant to our Indian students enrolled in French colleges and universities.

Personal Experiences during the Course

  • Well structured courses (despite Covid in between), learning French wasn’t necessary but helped to get a job.

Return on Investment (ROI)

  • Investment wasn’t that high compared to courses in the US or UK.
  • ROI was great. Took less than a year for the ROI.

Multi-cultural Aspects of the Course

  • 18 out of 48 students were Indians. So even though the nationality mix was diverse, I would say it wasn’t a big factor.

Part-time Job Experience

  • I did not do any part-time job during the Masters.

Internship Experience

  • Did it at a Startup in Station F in Paris.
  • Was great in understanding the startup culture, airline domain and also for learning French.

Advice for Juniors

  • France is an excellent choice for your higher studies.
