In this particular article, Boopathi SUBRAMANIAN was kind enough to share his Master’s experiences from Audencia Business School in Nantes, France.

Since 2020, A non-profit telegram group for Indian students is actively run by Indian alumni, who graduated in France. The group covers the various topics relevant to our Indian students enrolled in French colleges and universities.

Multi-cultural Aspects of the Course

  • With a majority of Indian students and a smaller group of international students from diverse backgrounds during study.

Part-time Job Experience

  • There are plenty of part-time job options available depending on the area. I recommend focusing on gaining experience in speaking French.
  • However, I advise against relying on part-time work for an extended period (focus on your career).
  • I worked in a car wash company for a few months, then stopped to concentrate on finding a regular job.

Internship Experience

  • My master’s program included a mandatory internship so I began with an internship which led to several interviews for the CDD/CDI position.
  • Internships are a great way to dip your toes into the French corporate work world and speak French.

Job Search Experience

  • Establish connections with alumni or network with seniors for guidance during your job search to get a job.
  • Commence your job or internship hunt during the second semester.

Advice for Juniors

  • While studying, make an effort to learn and speak French outside (Markets, part-time jobs, Erasmus group..etc).
  • It will significantly ease your job prospects and daily life.
