Study: Top 20 Business Schools in France

Every year, the Financial Times publishes its European Business School Rankings. This article covers the top French business schools from the above ranking. If i am looking for Business School in France today, I would stick to the schools mentioned on this list.

90 Business schools from Europe were included in the December 2023 ranking by Financial Times. The schools are divided into four tiers by Financial Times.

  • Tier l includes 9 schools from HEC Paris to Essec Business School.
  • Tier ll includes schools from EMLyon Business School, ranked 10th, to Tias Business School in 38th position.
  • Tier lll, headed by BI Norwegian Business School spans schools ranked 39 to 77.
  • Tier lV includes schools from University of Amsterdam in 78th place to DCU Business School at 90.

  1. Hi Prasanth,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am interested in applying to the Global Executive MBA (GEMBA)program at TBS and have noted that the RNCP certification for the GEMBA program is classified as Level 7, which corresponds to a master ‘s-level degree. However, I enquired regarding APS with Toulouse Business School, and this was their response:

RESPONSE- Yes, international students, including those of Indian nationality, may be eligible for the APS (Autorisation Provisoire de Séjour) visa after graduating from a recognized higher education institution in France. However, the degree obtained must be at least equivalent to a Master’s level. Since the GEMBA Aerospace is an Executive MBA, eligibility may depend on your academic background and how your degree is recognized in France.

I don’t understand what the admission officer means by this, and it doesn’t answer whether GEMBA qualifies for APS or not. Could you please elaborate on what the admissions team means by this and how I should move forward? Also, please advise whom I should contact to confirm whether this program qualifies for APS under French immigration regulations?

    Thank you for your assistance!

    Best regards,
    Damini

      1. Hello Prasanth,

Thank you for the information regarding my previous concern.

However, I am considering the Mastere Spécialisé or the Advanced Master’s program (1 year) at ISAE SUPAERO in Toulouse. I would appreciate your advice on this matter. While these advance master’s programs are not RNCP-certified, they are CGE-certified.

I reached out to the university to inquire if I would be eligible for the APS after graduation as an Indian graduate, and they confirmed that I can benefit from the APS.

Could you please share your thoughts on whether I might be at a disadvantage due to the program not being RNCP-certified?

        Best regards,
        Damini
