I have applied for short stay visitor visa but got refused. My Long stay family reunion case is still under process, meanwhile I applied this short stay to celebrate my anniversary with my family in France, I attached all supporting documents, attestions de accueil, financial statements etc. But they denied.

Good to see your response here.

    1. Hello Palvi,

Sorry to learn about your visitor visa rejection. Unfortunately, it is normal because they expect family reunion applicants to wait until the process is completed. I have explicitly mentioned it in red here https://prasanthragupathy.com/2024/08/how-can-i-invite-family-members-to-france/

I understand its a difficult situation. But, Do not complicate your situation any further. Please wait for the completion of the regroupement familial procedure.

      Cheers,
      Prasanth

First of all, I deeply appreciate your dedication and hard work that you show to this work really inspiring and helpful.

My case has already taken time of two years and finally then transferred to perfecture for decision making.
I am looking forward now that in how much time perfecture will reply with update. Acc to you, how much time will take by perfect.
