  1. Hello Prasanth, Thank you once again for the super useful content. It’s my first year filing for a full year of income and as expected, the tax liability is devastating. I have been sending money in INR to my family from my Indian bank account (NRO), but I barely ever send euros to my Indian bank account. Do you think it’s a smart choice to declare my Indian bank accounts and show this cash flow to my family to claim deduction under 6GU? Would this open up my Indian bank accounts to unnecessary scrutiny?

Side question: I also have a revolut account that I use for payments. Should I declare that too?

    1. Hello Vighnesh,
Regarding 6GU, please check my detailed expalanations on https://prasanthragupathy.com/2025/03/tax-deductions-in-france-for-financial-support-to-parents-pensions-alimentaire-6gu/

If the Revolut account IBAN starts with FRxx, not necessary to be declared in 3916 form. FYI https://prasanthragupathy.com/2024/03/tax-form-3916-declaration-of-foreign-bank-insurance-and-investment-accounts/

      Cheers,
      Prasanth
