Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Talent Passport Qualified employee visa, non-European nationals including British must satisfy the following 3 conditions.
- A French Master’s degree (labeled by the Conference des Grandes écoles) or its equivalent in France.
- A permanent employment contract “CDI” or a fixed-term employment contract “CDD” for at least three months with an employer based in France.
- A gross annual salary of at least twice the legal national minimum wage (SMIC) in France, i.e. €43,243 as of 1st November 2024.

First application in France
Here is a detailed checklist of documents required for submitting the first application of a multi-year Passeport Talent “salarié qualifié” carte de sejour on ANEF portal.
- Copy of a valid long-stay visa or a residence permit.
- Copy of a valid Passport (pages concerning civil status, validity dates, entry stamps and visas).
- Code of the e-photo (provided by the photographer or a photomaton machine).
- Copy of French Master’s Degree Certificate.
- Certificate from employer “attestation employeur” signed and stamped.
- Proof of Accommodation less than 6 months old
- If you are a tenant or landlord, you must provide one of the following:
- Electricity, gas, water, landline or internet access bill
- Rental Agreement
- Rent receipt
- If you are staying with an individual (family, friend, etc.), you must provide all the following documents:
- Attestation d’hebergement dated and signed.
- Copy of the identity card or residence permit of the host.
- Proof of address in the name of the host (taxe d’habitation statement or copy of the rental agreement or electricity, gas, water, landline or internet access bill).
- If you are a tenant or landlord, you must provide one of the following:
- Contrat d’engagement à respecter les principes de la République.

Unfortunately, There is no standard timeline for the ANEF process. Usually, it takes anywhere from 2 to 6 months and sometimes even longer.

I renewed my Indian passport in January 2025. For my Passeport Talent visa renewal, should I upload scanned copies of all the pages from both the old and new passports on ANEF, or is the scanned copy of the new passport alone sufficient?

If I was in your situation, I will upload scanned copies of both but clearly highlight the new and old passports.
If the visa to be renewed is not present in the old passport, then its not required.

I need to change my status from a titre du séjour temporaire to passport talent. My current titre expires end of February, I was checking to apply on ANEF but I did not have the option here and I have this message on the portal.
“La téléprocédure de demande de titre de séjour pour ce motif n’est pas accessible en ligne pour le moment. Nous vous invitons à vous connecter au site internet de la préfecture dont dépend votre résidence pour vous renseigner sur les démarches à effectuer.”

I am curious to know why you don’t mention other mandatory documents like Curriculum Vitae, extrait K-bis, etc.? I see those documents in the list of required documents on ANEF for Talent Salarie Qualifie.

These are pre-2022 requirements and not relevant now. Only an attestation (official template) from employer is required. For the EU Blue card, there are addtional requirements.

The article is up-to-date. As explained in the my previous comment, the docs like Curriculum Vitae, extrait K-bis, etc are old requirements. Not relevant for the basic CdS Talent Salarié qualifié since last 4-5 years.
CV is required for CdS Talent-carte bleue européenne (EU blue card).

Hey Prasanth, my Indian passport is about to expire in june and Talent Passport in August. Can I apply for Talent Passport before I get my new indian passport. Will it create any issues? Given by the time I receive my talent passort, my Indian passport will be a renewed one?

Ideally, you have sufficient time to renew the passport now (3-4 weeks process) and then submit the CdS Talent renewal application in May using the new passport. This is exatly what I would do now to avoid any unnecessay issues.
If not (last minute option), you can start the CdS renewal process using the old passport number and then submit the new passport details whenever available. Most probably, the French admin is going to ask the new passport details when they process your docs and this might extend the processing time of your CdS renewal.

I received an attestation de décision favorable which says “Passeport talent : Salarié qualifié / entreprise innovante” for 4 years, although I had applied just for “Passeport talent : Salarié qualifié” and not “entreprise innovante.” I am confused if this is a good or bad outcome.
Could you please confirm whether I can only change jobs within an entreprise innovante JEI company, or whether I can also work for any (big or small size) French company in the future on this permit?
